What problem to campers face when planning & packing equipment?
FINDING
Almost everyone said they spent a fair amount of money buying gear that later was never used again and ended up either throwing it away before a move, giving it away or storing it within a garage or closet.
LEARNING GOAL 2
What are the top concerns campers have before a multi day trip?
FINDING
Most users said they didn’t realize how much gear & supplies they needed to ensure a safe camping trip. They all mentioned they either asked a friend or employee at a store to help them determine what they would need.

What does preparing and packing look like for our target audience?
FINDING
A majority said they went to a local supply store like REI and looked around as a mechanism to help prepare. Some users mentioned they over-packed and ended up carrying too much equipment while other users mentioned they didn’t bring enough of the essentials like (trash bags, flashlights, bug repellent, towels etc)
